<p>This (816 x 947mm) drawing is printed on an A0 (841mm x 1189mm) paper size. It shows Benito Belli’s layout and stress and strain calculations for the rear wing of a March 88C Indy car, which competed in the 1988 Indy Car Championship. Emerson Fittipaldi came 2nd in the 1988 Indy 500 Race in a March 88C and won two championship races that year. Other drivers who competed in the championship in March 88C Indy cars included Al Unser Jr, Teo Fabi, Michael Andretti and Scott Pruett.

Benito Belli joined March Engineering in 1984, as a senior aerodynamicist. He became chief aerodynamicist overseeing a variety of projects including Indycars, Formula 3000, IMSA, Group C and the Oldsmobile closed circuit record car. During the 1987 season he also worked as Michael Andretti's race engineer with the Kraco team. That continued into 1988, but he then became chief development engineer of the Porsche Indycar program. During 1990 he worked at Leyton House Engineering as a senior aerodynamicist before joining forces with Robin Herd to establish Fomet 1. He designed the Fomet Formula 1 car in 1991 and when the company became Larrousse, he did the design work on the Larrousse chassis for the 1992, 1993 and 1994 seasons. In 1995 Belli established his own design consultancy, Cyber Dynamics, with customers including Team Green in CART, Pagan Racing in IRL, TWR Arrows in F1 and Hendrick Motorsport in NASCAR. In 2014 he joined Indy Car’s technical group as the Director of Aerodynamic Development.
